My Dad's visit

Well we finally got my dad up here to visit..

Girls loooooved having Pa around, he had a shadow the whole time.

We picked him up on the tuesday night down at Brissy...

Dad wakes up pretty early so he went for a Long walk around our estate.. Cody woke up early for her.. and said to me mummy where's Pa he isn't in his bed...

Told her he had gone for a walk so she made me sit outside waiting for him to come back.. wouldn't even come back in to have some brekky...

We spent the wed driving around the whole of the sunshine coast..

We showed dad all down this end of town and then had lunch at Beefy's (Aussie world Pie's) then drove up to the big pineapple, ginger factory, nut factory, we bi passed the Coffee place.. then went to coolum then came home...(bit stiff in the back seat)

Thursday we had marli's swimming well i reckon i should take faimly all the time.. she was an angel... NEVER cried ONCE :) :).. she even hopped into the pool without fuss. (so unlike Marli)

After that we came home had lunch then went for a drive through Maleny, Monetville and came out at Nambour (nothing much) a couple of hours

That night we went through the old home movies dad took he went down memory lane :) i want to get some of them to DVD so least now i have years etc so i can put them in to get done..

Friday, we went up to Noosa, so i can now say ive been there lol.. even had a ice cream, man they are expensive..Marli and I shared one (even though she ate most of it).. we went for a walk up Hastings st not much to say there, i think that place reminds me of Double bay of Sydney..... we wouldn't belive ho many people where on the beach and it wasn't that hot..
We took dad to fish and chips up at Moolooaba for those who have already been you know the one mmmm droool.. we didnt eat too much as we knew we were going to the local RSL for dinner that night.. I think dad wish he had a big lunch though.. the meals like usual are crap..Really dont know how this club has won best food outlet in clubs for 6 years running.. Dad can understand why they are doing major reno's to this club..
Came home and watched knocked up mmm one movie NOT to watch with little kids around.. we quickly put the girls to bed..you will understand if youve seen it.. Oh Trace if you are reading this i just remembered...you will get it soon..


Saturday..mmm what did we do..oh we went to Superbee, we have been told its closing and Brett had never been there before so we went and yes it's closing down.. That was ok. see pic's of Brett and Cody and Dad and Marli on some electric bikes (Cody was driving this by herself but brett had to be on the back due to her age right at the end he jumped off and she did a lap by herself and silly mummy didnt take a pic)

Then came home had lunch and then took girls to Happy Valley (the park).. and then came home and had a BBQ for dinner..

Should say after dad's walk the first morning he took Brett's bike out the other mornings and found alot of bike tracks (un be known to us that were there) he rode from here to the beach on bike tracks...) didnt even know you could do that lol..

Then on Sunday we took dad down to bribie island on the way to the airport but stopped off to Humble Pie somewhere down south.. for lunch.. don't bother if you drive up this way.. they were crap..

Bribie Island has changed since the last time we went there heaps of shops there now..

Cody didnt want Pa to go home she started to cry in the car saying to me i don't want him to go home...

He said he had a nice relaxing time (so he should of been relaxed lol we did heaps of driving with him in the passenger seat lol
