Man where to start

We left here on the Thursday morning was meant to be out the door by 5.00am yeh right Brett has no concept of time does he..

5.30am we finally leave after a few attempts.. luckily our last one as i noticed we had left the air on.. That would of been a nice electricity bill

Took us over 3 hours just to get out of the Gold Coast bloody traffic (and its know where near as bad as Sydney)

We stopped heaps, i drank so much water.. We also stopped in at my sister's Judy's work at a puzzle place in the Big Banana at Coff's but we always walk out with something..

We finally got to my dad's at dinner time (our dinner time) took us 12 1/2 hours and man the girls were PITA's big time told Brett never again...

Friday: Spent a lovely day with him and also a bonus my sister Debbie and David and my nephew were there haven't seen Tyler for years.. he's grown up allot since last time

We went to the club but didnt have dinner as Marli hadn't had a sleep and she had a crap night the night before so we gave her left over nuggets in the car and she was sleep within 5 minutes, had to check to make sure she didnt fall asleep with food in her mouth and Cody was asleep not too long after her.

Got to my sister's Girls were awake at this stage marli woke up at the twin caltex and Cody we woke her up for dinner at Hexham..

they both didnt want to go to sleep but we finally got them to sleep, told them they wouldn't be go to the drag's so they quickly went quiet and fell asleep..

Saturday, Brett went to the drag's and i went to see Nat and Mart, Jack and Hayley and there lovely new home, i tell you her blog photo's don't do it justice.. it is SOOO much bigger in real life and just gorgeous... Cant wait to see the backyard finish Nat..

We all left and went to the drag's much to Nat's um dislike to them.. but i was greatfull she came i got to see her a bit longer.. pity i couldn't talk all the time to her, all the kids were being a handful..

Ted, Trace and Blake and also Scotty turned up that was good... by this stage Cody was down the Pits with Gai getting spoilt, ice cream for dinner then a chicken sandwich (i think) for desert).. ah well doesn't happen every night.

Nat and Mart didnt stay too late, i heard Hayley spilt some water down the people's back in front of us so they wanted to go.. Jack wasn't too happy though but dims the brakes i suppose..

They were lucky though as we didnt get out of there till 12.30AM yep you read right.. Marli was pretty tired but after the one lot of Top Fuelers went and blew up i got her to sleep and she crashed... even when they started again she didnt not move (i still covered her ears) can you belive she slept through those things..

Sunday: Brett had the drags again, and Michelle and I went over to see our other sister Kim and her family over at the northern Beach's was great seeing them.. love seeing those guys.. Thanks for the Pressies Kim Girls love them :)
We stayed longer than planned as Brett phoned to say there was a storm coming and its got hail in it.. whilst on phone he told me that one had just come through the tent (wont use his words)..

Then i phoned him back later to say it's ok here but he told me it was worse there think he said they were like opened up Kiwi fruits... but the size of golf balls unfortunately his dad's car was wrecked in it.

Monday: What did i do on Monday, oh thats right, Brett went and saw people while i stayed at mish's place all day.. then he got back there and then we went to his dad's..

Stayed there the night..

Tuesday: We went to Julie's place for the whole day, Julie and i even left Brett with all the girls for 40mins or so and went shopping... gotta love that..

man but on the way home we got stuck in Sydney's bloody peak hour traffic on Camden Valley way... man so glad i don't have to drive in that any more..

Then we all went to Ron and Gai's for dinner and all the girls got there pressie's..

Wednesday: We had planned to go to the blue mountains as this is where Brett's mum's ash's are and also his nan's and wanted to show Cody and Marli up there but it was raining so I went to Mish's to catch up on washing and Brett had to get this darn Jet ski trailer registered that Scott was meant to do BEFORE we got down to Sydney but typical ashby's leave everything till the last minute. So he was gone basically the whole day.. Was not happy...

Because it took him so long to do and also he had to take Julie's handbag to wetherill park as she left it at Ron's the night before our day was stuffed, there goes seeing more of Nat and the kids and also John and Mavis..

We did quickly go and see Nat and Mart and the kids on the way out that night.. it was good to see them again and there front yard looks fantastic..

That night we went to Sizzler with Jen and Jas and also Ted, Trace and Blake.. it was awesome seeing all you guys Jen you LOOK FANTASTIC, can't wait to see you next time..

Then that night we stayed at Ted and trace's :)

Thursday, Was another crappy day, so we went Bowling, we have never taken the girls bowling before, we are definalty going to do that again that was so much fun..but bloody Ted kept putting me in last place on the last bloody pin's maybe next time i will be a kid and have the bumper bowling lol

Then afterwards we went into Macathur square, man that place has changed..

That night we got to meet Scott's new girlfriend.. wasn't very talkative but still nice to meet her..

Trace, the girls LOVE there new pressies they won't stop playing with them good choice..

Friday: Was a pretty sad day for me, one of my June mums (Gail) from the Mothers forum phoned me to advise me that another mum (Caroline) who was due to have a c/s on Tuesday found out on Thursday that her baby had no heart beat and no movement and after several test advised her the baby was no longer living... Just as i got to Peewee's that night Gail phoned me to tell me Caroline had a baby girl named Hayley Elizabeth... Life is so cruel sometimes.. i couldn't and still can't stop thinking of our dear friend Caroline.. No one deserves this.. they are still trying to determine what happened.. She will be buried on Friday at 2pm (Melb time) then we are all going to let a Pink balloon with a white rose attached to it for her as Caroline does (on her time about 2.45pm)..

After that we left and we went to John and Sue's it was great seeing you guys as well, esp Zeth last time we saw him he was 3 weeks old... and he's now 8 months old..

That night we went to Peewee's place, we made Tarlay's birthday cake, we did start drinking after the kids were put to bed luckily.. haha

Kylie started to ice the cake but got the shit's lol (i would of too, im so impatient) so Brett took over took him ages, then she decorated it.. lets say luckily it was um covered in smarties hey Peewee.. but it was made with love...

Saturday: We had Tarlay's 2nd birthday party, that was great, i can still remember the phone call at 4am...

It was at a play centre, but poor cody was pushed and scratched by a little shit of a girl who kept pushing and hitting other kids and the mum did nothing, i finally worked out who the mother was but it was too late as she wasn't doing it by that stage so didnt feel right to say anything.. Cody still has her lovely long scratch on her face now.

on and i got to see Mesh and Patrick that was great :) haven't seen them since there wedding day last year.. and i got to finally meet Tyron :) Nic he is a mini Nixon.. and boy hasn't he grown up..

We left there and went straight up to Brett's grandparents and stayed there the night to make it easier on us in the morning..

Love seeing them, they spoil the girls...(and us) got a lovely xmas pressie off them

Sunday, We got up early and left by 6am (NSW TIME) and got home at 5pm (QLD time) so that was good...

I tell you though its good to be back home in our own bed and environment..

To everyone we saw it was great seeing every one of you, to everyone we stayed with thank you for your hospitality to everyone we didnt see im sooo sorry, we ran out of time next time you will be on top of the list..
And to everyone who gave the girls a present thank you, Kim now when people ask her what she wants off santa she replies with i want a trampoline and i already have my Dora cd lol..
