Got there about 12ish walked around on the sand, well Marli didnt like the sand so daddy had to carry her...
He's been trying to take her off my hands when he is around so she get's use to him and not relying on me all the time (thank god) so i had Cody which she loved..
We all had a ball looking at all these different kites.. man some were HUGE... some were Tiny
We stopped and had some lunch on the sand (well the girls did) took plenty of photos and then i chased Cody around and Marli finally started walking and running on the sand so thank god we didnt have to carry her after that :)
She still wouldn't walk in the water though... Cody and I were walking on the edge of the water line and since Hi Tide was coming in the water kept getting us (Cody was loving this) but Marli haha she actually walked around the water line... ah well hopefully this summer we get to spend some time down the beach and she gets use to it..(well she has to since we live right near the beach)
We bought Cody a Kite a Fairy one.. well we actually bought it for both girls then on way out we saw a cheap on so got that for Marli...Whilst buying these Kites we heard it was pouring back hom (40mins south) and then a couple of minutes later we heard a storm was coming.. so i said to brett lets get out NOW.. even though we were meant to catch up with some friends but still i wasn't staying there in that weather..
We did catch up with Brett's mate we were walking out they were walking in....
We waited for the bus to take us back to Coolum (didnt fancy the 10min walk with Marli and Cody esp since they had been walking for several hours as it was) then just as the bus turned up the sky's opened up.. and some roulettes came flying over just before we hopped on the bus Girls love seeing them...
